Dr. Carter and his staff were very personable and thorough. Unlike a lot of doctors, they didn’t talk over me but listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. He walked through a complete skincare routine with me and gave over the counter recommendations rather than pushing medical grade products, even the ones they sell in the office which I really appreciated. Ordinarily I don’t do reviews but I was pleasantly surprised and grateful to have visited this office. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day and registration was quick and easy. Once I got there I only waited about 5 or 6 minutes and was called in right away. Dr. Carter was professional and thorough as well as funny, he made my visit comfortable. He was very straightforward and did not try to upsell me on any unnecessary medications or follow up visits. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking a good dermatologist.

I was ecstatic to have finally found a doctor who actually follows through with procedures needed to address a chronic scalp condition. Dr. Carter is knowledgeable and up to date with clinical research. Over five months I had discussed clearly my symptoms with three doctors and a physician assistant who were either apathetic or lacking knowledge. Dr. Carter took time to explain medication /interactions, really listened and explained diagnoses and procedures, called and thoroughly explained biopsy results. Huge relief to have found Dr. Carter. His assistant that screened me was great as well, very personable staff at this office. The only downside was that I was waiting about 20 minutes past my scheduled time, although that’s much better than the wait time has been at similarly sized dermatologists I’ve seen in the past. I have seen this doctor [Dr. Fox] a couple of times now and every appointment has been great! My father had skin cancer, so I am religious about my skin screenings. Dr. Fox was thorough and even recommended a hat company for my dad that would provide the best protection for him. He is also considerate of costs of medications and tries to prescribe the best and most cost effective medications and pharmacies. His beside manner is also amazing! I’ve seen Dr. Carter for my acne over the last year and a half or so. I’m almost always seen immediately; the only time I waited was for maybe 10 minutes max (and they had an assistant out sick that day and they apologized sincerely for the wait). I wouldn’t call my acne severe, but it was deep and obvious when I had it, so it was a relief to finally have clear skin. Dr. Carter and his assistants also took the time to give me extra advice (face washes to use, things to avoid, etc.) I’ve already suggested Dermatology Physicians Group for friends who have acne.
